Why we are building ZINC on Arcium ☂️🦺
Every transaction you make onchain is public. Your wallet, timing, and your holdings are all visible to anyone watching. For most applications, that's fine, but for our new chapter, ZINC, a mining protocol where your strategy determines whether you win, it's a problem.
A strategy everyone can see is a strategy nobody wins with. That's why we built ZINC on @Arcium.
What actually is Arcium?
Arcium is a confidential computing network on @solana.
The short version: it lets applications process data without ever exposing it. No single node sees the full picture; the computation happens, and when the result comes out, nobody, neither the users, nor the protocol, nor Arcium itself, can read what went in.

The team behind it has been building this since 2022. They raised $15M+, launched mainnet Alpha on Solana last year, and built an ecosystem of 30+ applications on top of their infrastructure.
Where does ZINC come from?
We started as Turbine Cash, a protocol for privacy-first products and solutions on Solana. We built various products, including private transfers, swaps, LST, and DCA. We know how this tech works and have experience with what it takes to do it right.
When we designed ZINC, we kept asking, what if we could bring offchain game mechanics onchain? The best games have always used secrecy as a mechanic, onchain games stripped that away where everything is visible and exposed.

The answer was that nobody had built the infrastructure to fix it. Arcium did.
What does it mean for our users?
Your tile selection is always encrypted, we never expose it, even after the round ends. We don't have access to it, as it's encrypted and decrypted entirely inside the Arcium network. On top of that, the winning tile is selected via Arcium's secure randomness, provably fair, impossible to predict or manipulate.
No one can copy, expose, or frontrun your mining strategy. This changes the game mechanics fundamentally.

What comes next:
ZINC is going public soon, and having the Arcium community alongside us from day one means a lot.
Beyond the game, we see ZINC as an active contributor to Arcium's next steps. Every miner on ZINC is proof that encrypted compute works at the application layer.

We're early, and we're building on the right foundation.
The mine is just getting started...
The ZINC team.
